#RelayFirstLap started with one volunteer’s vision to renew his commitment to Relay For Life and encouraged others to join him. Since then, Joe Gillette’s vision has spread globally and on the first Saturday of the New Year, Relayers worldwide take their first lap of the year together. We invite everyone to continue Joe’s vision and take your first steps of the season with us on January 9, and register for our 2027 Relay For Life event! We have "I take my First Lap for.... cards available. If you want to print your own off we can make that happen.
