Relaxed Hour is a monthly session designed to provide a more spacious and comfortable way to explore the Roman Baths. Relaxed Hour has been developed for visitors who may benefit from reduced visitor numbers, including neurodivergent visitors, people with sensory sensitivities, disabled visitors, children and young people with SEND, and their families, friends and carers. The session is open to anyone who would prefer to visit at a time when the site is less busy.

Reduced visitor numbers during Relaxed Hour create a more spacious visiting environment, allowing visitors to explore the Roman Baths at their own pace and spend time engaging with the archaeology, displays and historic surroundings that interest them most as they follow the visitor route.
Our team will be available throughout the session to provide information, answer questions and offer support where required.

Support from staff during your visit.
The flexibility to remain on site after 10am and continue your visit if you wish. Standard admission levels resume from 10am and the site may become busier from this time onwards.
Visitors can arrive at any time between 9am and 10am. Entry is managed through timed arrival slots to help maintain reduced visitor numbers throughout the session.
