Info: Matt Teegarden, LCSW, COF is a "retired" clinical social worker. Matt spent his career as a
clinical social worker supporting adolescents, families, and communities to build strength
and grow. Whether in mental health settings, residential treatment facilities, or public
schools, Matt has a passion for identifying and building resilience to support young people
and their families to face hardship and challenges to become stronger individually and
together.
Matt also has a deep respect for kinship caregivers. For his entire career, he has humbly
stood beside caregivers stepping up to meet the needs of young people. He is honored to
be able to support your work.
Our time together will focus on sharpening the leadership skills of our kinship caregivers in
their work to lift up children and adolescents

Info: Overcoming Trauma and Building Intentional Lives
It has been said that trauma is not an event, but an experience. The legacy of trauma is
not only the things that happened, but equally or more, how those events changed the way
the survivor sees themselves, others, and the world around them.
There is no simple roadmap to guide a young person and those who love them through the
process of growing through trauma. This workshop will provide a structure to help young
people and their caregivers to grow from victims of trauma to strong young people on the
path to reclaiming their lives and building their futures.
