St. Marks welcomes Luke Sorrell- a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with Harbor Counseling in North Shore Chattanooga, as our guest speaker in worship- Sunday October 11 and October 18. Luke's series is "Relational Beings: Seeking a More Authentic Way of Relating."
Luke specializes in helping folks work through complex trauma, grief, and sexuality issues. He is particularly passionate about working with individuals and couples as they navigate past and present religious harm.
Luke's mental health work began with male sex-trafficking survivors and individuals with co-occurring diagnoses. From these experiences working with and advocating for overlooked populations, he developed a passion for understanding the complexities of how previous experiences shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us presently. All this has led him to working experientially with clients, providing opportunities to re-experience themselves, relationships, and their surrounding contexts in new and healing ways.
Join us in worship on these special Sunday's and strengthen your relationships.
