DAY 2 – Nov 20th, 2026, 8:30 pm
For the second evening of the 7th edition, a double bill stretches the concert experience to the max, juxtaposing dark melodic beauty with a fierce, psychedelic blend of free rock and space jazz.
Kika Sprangers Quintet
– Cinematic color fields & dark melodic beauty –
Winner of the 2025 Edison Jazz National Award, Dutch saxophonist Kika Sprangers presents her new project river, river. Her music creates emotional undercurrents, where Anna Serierse’s soaring vocals merge seamlessly with the warm saxophone sound.
• Kika Sprangers – saxophones & compositions
• Anna Serierse – vocals
• Koen Schalkwijk – piano & Wurlitzer
• William Barrett – bass
• Wouter Kühne – drums

Liz Kosack – **Y**
– Interdimensional synthesizer excursions & high-wire space jazz –
An absolute anomaly in the global experimental scene, 2019 SWR Jazz Prize recipient Liz Kosack pushes her synthesizer to the limits of organic expression. Her Berlin-based co-led trio **Y** unleashes a propulsive, psychedelic high-wire act praised as "sound art in the fourth dimension."
• Liz Kosack – synthesizer
• Dan Peter Sundland – electric bass
• Steve Heather – drums
📍 Location: Jazzclub Kunstfabrik Schlot, Berlin
