A new year naturally invites us to reconsider our lives.

But there is another question we don't ask nearly as often:
What do I actually believe—and how much of it did I choose for myself?
Many of us inherited our beliefs long before we were old enough to question them. We were taught what God was like, what was considered right or wrong, who belonged, who didn't, and sometimes even what questions we were allowed to ask.
Then life happened.
We experienced love, loss, relationships, grief, injustice, different cultures, different people and different ways of understanding the Divine. We learned. We grew.
And sometimes the faith we inherited no longer fits the person we have become.
💫 Reimagining Your Faith is a weekend for exploring that space.
This retreat isn't about abandoning Christianity, finding a new religion, or convincing anyone to believe something different.
It's about giving yourself permission to question, examine, learn, unlearn and decide what feels true for you now.
🌿 What We'll Explore
📖 Religious conditioning and the beliefs we inherited
✨ The historical Jesus and his radical message
📜 Ancient texts and voices excluded from traditional Christianity
🌹 The role of women in the early church
🕊️ Fear-based theology versus love-based spirituality
💭 Spiritual authority and our willingness to question it
❤️ The difference between inherited belief and personal spiritual experience
And we'll make room for some much bigger questions:
What if questioning isn't a betrayal of faith?
What if it is how faith becomes your own?
Throughout the weekend, there will be meaningful conversation, personal reflection, time in nature, opportunities for rest and connection, and space to explore your spirituality without judgment or expectation.
You don't need to arrive with answers.
You don't even need to know exactly what you believe.
You simply need to be willing to get curious. 💛
As we begin a new year, perhaps the invitation isn't to become a new version of ourselves.
Perhaps it's to gently examine everything we've been told we must believe and make room for the truth, faith and connection that remain when we finally give ourselves permission to ask.
