✨What Navaratri means
Navaratri, the nine sacred nights, marks the turning point of Goddess Durga. This turning point in the outer world mirrors a turning point inside the body. As the season shifts, vata rises, digestion weakens, and what has accumulated over the year asks to be cleared before the colder months settle in. Charaka Samhita, one of Ayurveda's core texts, teaches that health depends on harmony across four aspects of the self: body, mind, emotion, and spirit. This retreat is built on that structure, as the actual sequence of the nine days.
✨How the nine days unfold
• A mini kit of oils, herbs, and seasoned spices, given to you at the start of the retreat • A personalized one-on-one Ayurvedic consultation, setting the tone for your week and for the 24 to 36 hour fast and how it will be held
• Three group workshops on Ayurvedic principles, awareness, and the connection between the four aspects of life, held with space for questions and deeper self-understanding
• Daily mornings together: yoga practice, chanting to the deity of the day, and breath work
• Daily worksheets and integration prompts, to guide the program on your own, with recipes to support how you eat and a set night routine to close each day

The rest is yours to carry off the mat, in how you feed and tend to yourself between sessions.
