About the Workshop:
If you are new to a connection-based approach or you are looking for next steps, this opportunity is for you. Linda's teachings have widely benefitted our parenting, clinical work, and classroom pedagogy through the Declarative Language Handbook and the Co-Regulation Handbook. We are thrilled to have her joining us live and in-person for this customized learning and networking event!Participants will be invited to deeply explore topics such as co-regulation, declarative language, what to do when supports aren't working, how to help our child manage and learn from mistakes, and how to foster positive peer interactions. Join us for a day of information, resources, case examples, small group discussion, Q&A opportunities, and connection with other parents and professionals.
About the Presenter:
Linda K. Murphy is a speech language pathologist, RDI ® Consultant, small business owner, author, speaker, PDA North America Board member, and dedicated lifelong learner. She has been supporting neurodivergent individuals, from childhood through adulthood, for over 30 years across a range of settings, and proudly leads a compassionate, skilled, collaborative, thoughtful, neuro-affirming team at her private practice, Peer Projects, in Beverly, MA. Linda loves all aspects of her work – from leading trainings … to playing with kids… to problem solving with parents… to collaborating with professionals… to thinking through the many nuances of how to communicate in a way that helps others feel competent, connected and understood. She is eternally grateful and humbled that so many communities have found and connected with her through her books Declarative Language Handbook and Co-Regulation Handbook.
