Regina Belle, raised in Englewood, New Jersey, is a Grammy Award-winning American singer, songwriter, and actress renowned for her rich, emotive vocals and timeless R&B/soul sound. She rose to prominence in the late 1980s after starting as an opening act for The Manhattans, delivering classic hits including 🎵 Baby Come to Me, 🎵 Make It Like It Was, 🎵 If I Could, 🎵 How Could You Do It To Me 🎵Show Me the Way, 🎵 So Many Tears, 🎵 When Will You Be Mine and 🎵 This Is Love.
She is best known for her iconic duet with Peabo Bryson on 🎵 A Whole New World (Aladdin’s Theme) from Disney’s Aladdin. The song became a global smash, reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (the first Disney animated theme to do so), and earned them the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. It remains one of the most beloved ballads of all time.
