Reggae Got Soul
“This will be the 3rd annual fundraising night that Reggae Got Soul has held in honour of a beloved brother and fellow DJ, Andy Boyd.
Andy had been a long time supporter of Reggae Got Soul but it wasn't until the final 18 months of his life that I got to know him really well and found out how much of a humanitarian he was. A man of the people and for the people, who cared passionately about social justice and the plight of downtrodden and dispossessed peoples, especially the Palestinians. I have no doubt whatsoever that if Andy were alive today he would be actively supporting them
So this is a night where we can celebrate Andy’s life, his generosity of spirit, wry wit, worldly wisdom and commitment to building a better world, both locally and globally. Those who were at either (or both) of the last two ‘Nights For Andy’ will know just how enjoyable they were, and since I don't know how long we can keep these going, if you have half a mind to come, please don’t hesitate to buy a ticket as we’d like to fill the place once again with good people, good vibes and love in remembrance of an exceptional man, and in support of a great and just cause
For this special night we have once again, another great friend of Andy’s as our guest DJ - Richard Perry aka RICARDO who will need no introduction to all Soul and Funk heads through his highly successful ‘GET DOWN’ events”
