REfUSE Restaurant NightThursday 10th December sees the return of our Maz and her team of dedicated volunteers, cooking up some amazing Spanish Tapas as a real winter warmer.
Our restaurant nights are so popular, they raise awareness and funds for the REfUSE’s work in the community and in tackling food waste. Every Thursday, each evening has a different guest chef volunteering their skills, and they pick a theme for food.
A restaurant-style dinner with a twist: each plate is inspired and sourced from our surplus food collections which would have been destined for landfill. We rescue it, see the quantity and quality of food deemed 'worthless' and re-value it by serving amazing three-course dinners, every week at REfUSE Café, Chester-Le-Street.
How much?
Like a 'supper club', we have a set price of £25 per head. This includes a six-course supper club style meal, and you can bring your own wine or other alcohol. We do have a limited selection of soft drinks and mixers available to purchase on the night. We will provide each table with tap water, glasses and ice, and always have a Corkscrew or Bottle Opener on hand!
We ask for a deposit of *£10, TicketSource charge their own fee on top of this, this will leave £17 per ticket to pay on the evening. All money goes towards the food waste-saving work of REfUSE.
*Please note that this £10 deposit is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
