Join us at The Fruitful Fig for an evening of art, imagination, and community as we kick off our Waste Not Workshop Series!Led by local artist Janna Silvia, this hands-on workshop invites you to slow down, reflect on your journey, and get creative through the art of collage. With Thanksgiving approaching and a new year on the horizon, it's the perfect opportunity to celebrate where you've been and envision what's ahead.
Using recycled and upcycled materials, you'll create a one-of-a-kind piece of art that represents you. Your collage can be literal, abstract, or a little of both! We'll provide a variety of materials, including magazines, paper, stencils, and other rescued treasures. You're also welcome to bring personal photographs, dried flowers, mementos, or anything else that inspires you.
No artistic experience necessary! Just bring your imagination and an open mind. You'll leave with a beautiful, framed 12" × 12" collage that's uniquely yours.
Cost: $50 per person (all materials and frame included, as well as light refreshments)
