What does it actually take to rebuild your life after incarceration?
Join Dismas House of Indiana for an interactive Reentry Simulator & Luncheon, created and led by people who have experienced incarceration locally and are actively navigating reentry in our community.
During the simulation, participants will step into the realities of returning home from incarceration and work through some of the decisions, systems, barriers, and responsibilities that can shape the first weeks of reentry. The experience is designed to move beyond statistics and assumptions by centering the knowledge of people who have lived it.
Following the simulation, we'll share lunch and continue the conversation through facilitated table discussions. We'll close with a panel featuring people with lived experience, with plenty of time for questions and honest conversation about what reentry looks like in St. Joseph County—and what it means to be a community that welcomes people home.

This event is open to community members, service providers, faith communities, employers, civic leaders, and anyone interested in better understanding reentry in our community.
