Haltom City is marking National Preparedness Month with a free night at North Park, headlined by an outdoor screening of the 1996 film Twister.Before the movie, walk the park for games, activities, photo ops, concessions, and visit booths from City departments and area organizations with hands-on demonstrations and information on severe weather alerts, warning systems, and building a home emergency kit.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Free and open to everyone.
