About this Event
Global Education Center presents Redemption Time, a film by David Gonzalez that weaves together music, poetry, imagery, and storytelling to share the journeys of formerly incarcerated artists Jimmy Santiago Baca and Christian Howes. Their stories are a testament to the power of the arts to transform, heal, and redeem.
Following the screening, join us for a solo concert by Christian Howes, community dialogue, and a shared meal. This is an evening to sit together, reflect, and witness the ways creativity carries people through their hardest chapters and into new beginnings.
This event is part of GEC's Literary Reading Series, presented in partnership with the Tennessee Arts Commission and Metro Arts.
