Hey everyone! Unfortunately, we had to reachedule this event. However, we're gonna try again on June 7th and we're switching it up this time.
This will be the first in an upcoming series of dating events for queer sapphic singles who want to connect through music. It is also a love note to our QPOC community ❤️ Imagine a late Sunday afternoon jamming to R&B throwbacks, a smooth drink in your hand and a cutie sitting close by. Thats the vibe we're trying to bring you with Red Velvet!
Local favorite DJ Jamz will be setting the tone for the night, spinning a curated mix inspired by our signature Red Velvet playlist. Check her out on IG at @djjvmz
Tickets for this event are now free in celebration of pride weekend 🏳️🌈 However, any donations would be greatly appreciated ❤️ Your ticket will include a small selection of light snacks that guests can enjoy. Vegetarian, vegan, and nut free options will be available.
We are also opening up the invite to "wingmen" and supportive friends. So, feel free to invite a plus-1.
This is also a sober and non alcoholic friendly event. Bar Palmina exclusively serves zero proof cocktails, making it an inviting space for all of our guests to enjoy.
The music for Red Velvet will center songs created by and for BIPOC, while also celebrating artists from many different backgrounds. The QBIPOC community is at the heart of this event, and we are committed to making sure they feel safe, seen, and supported. That said, Red Velvet is open to everyone, including our non BIPOC friends, who feel a connection to R&B music and who come ready to respect and honor the space, the intention, the people and the culture around them. If you haven't already, please read over our diversity agreement as well as our consent and conduct agreement.
Doors open at 3:00 PM. You will need to check in with the host upon arrival.
