Congratulations! you have been confirmed as a baker or a taster for the Red Velvet Cake Showdown.
Please read the instructions for your position.

1. Bakers
Welcome, bakers! We’re excited to have you participate in Augusta’s Red Velvet Cake Showdown!
Baker Entry Fee: $55
Before the Event
- Complete your Eventbrite registration and submit your $55 entry fee.
- Prepare your best red velvet cake recipe.
- Your cake must be homemade and ready for presentation and tasting. Please have enough samples for at least 75 people. They do not have to be large. A sheet cake is probably best suited for this.
- Additional event instructions, including cake drop-off times and setup information, will be provided before the event.
On Event Day – December 5, 2026
- Arrive at your assigned check-in time.
- Bring your completed cake ready for judging and sampling.
- Set up your designated display area.
- Each baker will have their cake presented to event tasters.
- Tasters will sample the cakes and vote for their favorite.

People’s Choice recognition.
Bragging rights as one of Augusta’s best red velvet cake bakers!

2. Tasters
Cake Taster Instructions & Guidelines
Calling all cake lovers! You’re officially invited to help us find Augusta’s favorite red velvet cake!
Taster Entry Fee: $20
What Your Ticket Includes
Access to sample red velvet cakes from participating bakers.
The opportunity to taste different cake recipes and creations.
One vote to help select the People’s Choice winner.
An afternoon of delicious desserts and community fun!
On Event Day – December 5, 2026
1. Arrive at you're designated time and check in to recieve your voting card.
2. Receive your tasting instructions and voting information.
3. Visit the participating baker stations.
4. Sample the red velvet cake selections.
5. Vote for your favorite cake.
6. Help us crown the People’s Choice winner!
Important Reminders
Your $20 ticket grants you access to the cake-tasting experience, and must be completed by November 7th 2026.
Please follow the designated tasting and voting procedures.
Voting must be completed within the designated voting period.
Additional event instructions will be provided before the event.
