About this Event
RED TENT WORKSHOP & CACAO CEREMONY
Hello beautiful souls!
Join us for an intimate, meaningful workshop that honors the natural cycles of your body and celebrates the power of your menstrual cycle. These workshops are designed to be a safe and sacred space for the feminine experience - where we can share about the full spectrum of the wild power. The blood, the wisdom, the rage, all of it.
What to Expect:
During our time together, we'll nourish body, mind, spirit, and womb. Opening with a cacao ceremony (sourced from Colombia) to ground us and set intention, we'll move through guided meditation, then gentle yoga and dance to integrate the experience. There will be an interactive card game focused on women's health, nutritional handouts tailored to the menstrual cycle, space for open questions and conversation, and a group song circle to close the ceremony. We will provide light refreshments and have reusable hygiene products available, both for purchase and giveaways. We hope that this experience and these resources will leave you feeling empowered, informed, and connected to a deeper sense of self and community.
HerStory: There will be an opportunity after the workshop to participate in HerStory, a research project dedicated to amplifying the voices of women - so we can better understand where and how to implement change. A videographer will be present to record those who would like to be interviewed. We'll explore the clinical benefits of non-toxic, reusable menstrual products and how this helps in the realm of advocacy with period poverty and stigma. Everyone who participates will be entered into a raffle for $200 toward an Amazon gift card and Divine Drops products/swag.
The prompt: "Think back to when you were a girl. What did you wish someone had told you? What would you tell a girl today?"
