Cloud Seven and Bozar join forces to bring you an afternoon dedicated to the multidisciplinary practice of artist Darius Dolatyari-Dolatdoust.Darius works at the intersection of textiles, scenography and performance, turning clothing into movement, and objects into gesture. His pieces unfold in galleries, museums and public spaces, inviting audiences of all kinds into a fluid, imaginative language built around the body.
The afternoon opens with a screening of his film Red Room (37’), which explores the same themes as his performances DRESSING and mata!, currently showing at Bozar. It's followed by a conversation between Darius and Elena Akilo, Public Programme coordinator at Bozar, to talk about the collaborative spirit of his work and how audiences sometimes become part of it.
This event is part of the PIT: Perform, Inform, Transform project, co-funded by the European Union.
Conversation will be held in French.
