About this Event
The Red On Backyard Ultra is a unique test of endurance held within the iconic british racing grounds of Haydock Park Racecourse. Following the backyard ultra format, runners must complete a 6.706 km (4.167 mi) loop every hour, on the hour, until only one runner remains. With no set finish line, the event pushes competitors to their absolute limits of physical and mental resilience.
After the last sell out event, you asked for more, so here we are. A fully enclosed back yard ultra going until the last person is standing.
What sets Red On apart is its military precision, offering a fully contained course that is well-marked and marshalled within such an iconic venue. Participants will battle not only fatigue and sleep deprivation but also unpredictable weather conditions, all while embracing the camaraderie that defines the backyard ultra community.

Due to the nature of the event and ensuring the event is protected for all athletes booked on, the refund policy is 50% refund up to 3 months out from the date of the event (30th August 2026) and no refunds following this date. A name change can be offered if an athlete cannot attend.
