The 1980s are coming to Flatiron - COLD WAR COSTUMES ENCOURAGED!

Don your trenchcoat and sunglasses or come as any character from 1985! East meets West in this hidden 80s-style party loft! Dress as Cindy Lauper, Adam Ant, or be a wallflower. in fingerless gloves. A nerd, a jock, a guy in a fedora and white leather jacket with padded shoulders and a skinny tie--or go behind the Iron Curtain - be a Soviet informer, KGB agent, tourist, taxi driver, or underground Depeche Mode fanatic .... the sky is the limit at this 1980s-retro launch party!

In 1985, Artie is on a KGB tour of Soviet-occupied Lithuania – where politics and vodka-fueled secrets spiral him into identity crisis.

Laced with folklore and time-traveling haiku, THE BOY WHO LOVED TREES gently lifts away decades of hidden guilt and shame to reveal the sad and beautiful untold story of the gay men of the 1980s who stayed in the closet (but not forever).
