Get your Halloween costumes ready for one of Red Bank’s longest-running Halloween traditions. The 78th Annual Halloween Parade takes over downtown Red Bank on Sunday, October 18, 2026, with an afternoon of costumes, floats, live music, food, a petting zoo, costume contests and plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family.

The parade lines up at 1:00 PM at E. Bergen Place and Hudson Avenue, so get there early if you want to watch the parade from a good spot. The procession begins at 2:00 PM and makes its way down Broad Street toward the White Street parking lot, where the afternoon continues with a community celebration.

What to expect at the Halloween parade:

This is more than a parade you watch from the sidewalk. Expect to see elaborate Halloween costumes, colorful floats, live music and plenty of local families joining in the fun. There will also be food, a petting zoo and costume contests, making this a particularly good Halloween event for families with kids.

If you are bringing little ones, the petting zoo and costume contests are worth keeping an eye out for. And if you are coming mainly for the costumes, Broad Street is where you’ll want to be when the parade gets moving.

Halloween parade route

The parade begins at E. Bergen Place and Hudson Avenue, then travels down Broad Street toward the White Street parking lot.

Parade lineup: 1:00 PM

Parade starts: 2:00 PM

Route: E. Bergen Place & Hudson Avenue → Broad Street → White Street parking lot

A few things to keep in mind

Arrive early. The lineup starts at 1:00 PM, an hour before the parade begins, so arriving ahead of time gives you a better chance of finding a comfortable viewing spot.

Expect crowds around Broad Street. This is a community Halloween parade, so the main route can get busy once the procession begins. If you're bringing children, keep them close while moving around the parade area.

Plan to stay after the parade. The parade ends at the White Street parking lot, where the celebration continues, so there is more to do than simply watch the procession go by.
