About this Event

Join Lama Rod Owens and The Consciousness Explorers Club for a day of practice aiming to expand and deepen our capacity to say “yes” to liberation and joy. Together, we'll explore the visionary, imaginative and embodied practice of mandala offering, helping us to engage with every aspect of experience as an opulent and abundant offering given freely to the entire universe, in order to dissolve dualistic conditioning and patterns of reactivity. Embodying this ethic of unconditional love and generosity fuels our agency to skillfully abolish everything that limits liberation in daily life, in our relationships with others, and in alliance with the Land. Over time and with practice, we decolonize our experience of phenomenal reality by reclaiming the full radiance of joy, clarity, and awakened care that is the actual inheritance of all beings.

During this day-long retreat, offered in person in Toronto and virtually over zoom, Lama Rod will guide practices and discussion which connect the classical mandala offering from the Indo-Tibetan tantric tradition to the werk/work of in these times. Participants will learn how to weave mandala offering into formal practice and throughout every aspect of daily living and dying, attuning to the somatic, perceptual, creative, and political aspects of the offering for collective liberation and mutual aid. To this end, we will call in support and joyful inspiration from the Land, plant allies, ancestral wisdoms, and the unseen.
