It’s time to gather, to make some noise and march for women’s rights to be safe, at all times, but especially at night! Join us for Reclaim the Night Cairns — a community gathering standing against gendered violence and reclaiming public spaces as safe for everyone.
Reclaim the Night is part of a global movement that began in the 1970s, bringing people together across the world to march, speak out, and demand freedom from violence, harassment, and fear. The event symbolises solidarity, resistance, and the right for all people, especially women and gender-diverse communities to walk safely in their communities at any hour.
Together, we raise our voices for safety, justice, visibility, and change.
