Recess Olympics returns to South Florida!
On Sunday, November 15 from 11 AM to 2 PM, Hopping 4 A Cure and the Arielle Anacker Cancer Foundation, Inc. bring the playground to Clive Daniel Home in Boca Raton.
THE GAMES: Four hopscotch competitions (Speed, Endurance, Challenge and the EXTREME Hopscotch team relay, which includes a wheelchair sprint leg so anyone can join any team), plus four square, hula hoop and jump rope competitions between rounds.
WHO CAN PLAY? Everyone, all ages and abilities. Register to play for $20; every player gets a personal fundraising page to rally friends and family.
WHERE THE MONEY GOES: Event proceeds are split 50/50.
- Hopping 4 A Cure funds college scholarships, caregiver support and research for families living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
- The Arielle Anacker Cancer Foundation helps families of children with cancer pay their bills and supports Ewing's sarcoma research.
SPONSORS: Playground, Business and Title sponsorships are available at recessolympics.org/donate.
ABOUT HOPPING 4 A CURE: Founded in 2010 by two South Florida high schoolers who "suited up" as Varsity Hopscotchers, Hopping 4 A Cure is a Boca Raton 501(c)(3) nonprofit that turns recess into support for people and families living with MS.
