A conversation about protests, leaving home, identity, and what happens to a movement when its people end up scattered around the world.
About this Event

Join us on 9 October at UoM for a conversation with Ray Wong, a Hong Kong activist now based in Germany, on the Hong Kong protests, the experience of leaving home, identity, and what happens to a political movement when its people become scattered across the world.

The event is open to everyone, you don’t need to study politics or have prior knowledge about Hong Kong to attend, join an opportunity to learn more about Hong Kong’s recent political history, the experiences of activists in exile, and engage in an open conversation on protest, identity, and political movements in a changing world!
