In Honor of the Jubilee of St. Francis, the Diocese of Metuchen is hosting a series of events for all OCIA Directors and their team members. These events will be organized around the Stages of the Catechumenate and will be focused on organic catechesis-teaching the Catholic faith as a living story rather than just a set of rules. Interest in the Catholic Church has been increasing in recent years, and this series is meant to take advantage of this "Catholic moment," one characterized by a surge in adult conversions, particularly among young adults, by providing our catechists with the training necessary to successfully accompany those preparing for full initiation into the Catholic Church.
All three sessions will run from 9am- 3pm, beginning with all Holy Mass breakfast and lunch will be served.
