A Glimpse into the Unknown. Join us at the George IV Bar for an evening of Scottish rum, ancient traditions and a little mystery, as we welcome Reaper's Rum for a tasting experience with a twist.
With just 12 guests per sitting, this intimate event combines a guided tasting of three Scottish-made Reaper's Rums, a specially crafted welcome cocktail and your very own personal tarot reading. Whether you're a rum enthusiast, curious about the cards or simply looking for something a little different to do in Edinburgh, come along, raise a glass and discover what the evening has in store.
Reapers Rum: A Rum to Die For Born in St Andrews, Reaper's Rum brings a distinctly Scottish twist to the world of rum. Inspired by the symbolism of tarot, the brand's range includes characterful spirits such as its original dark spiced rum, infused with coffee, vanilla and chilli, alongside creations inspired by individual tarot cards.
During the evening, our team will guide you through three of Reaper's Scottish rums, exploring their flavours, character and the stories behind them.

Edinburgh has long been a city of stories, superstition and the supernatural. From the shadowy closes of the Old Town to the legends whispered beneath the Castle, mystery feels right at home here. Tarot offers a little mystery of its own. Through its beautifully illustrated cards and centuries of symbolism, a reading invites you to explore possibilities, reflect on life's questions and perhaps discover a new perspective.
Every guest will receive their own individual tarot reading, making this a wonderfully personal experience whether you're a seasoned believer or simply curious about what the cards might reveal.
