Ready, Set, Baby! is an in-person Saturday morning event for expecting families in thier third trimester preparing to welcome a baby who live in the 5 northern counties of Idaho.
Join Safe Start and Heritage Health on Saturday, November 7, at the Heritage Health Center for Healthy Living for a three-hour event focused on baby safety, practical learning, and connection.
- Safe Sleep 101: Learn practical ways to create a safer sleep environment, reduce the risk of sleep-related infant death, and feel more confident about where and how your baby sleeps.
- Lunch (on us!): An opportunity for families to connect with community organizations offering resources and services for growing families.
- Car Seat 101: Learn how to choose, use, and install your baby’s car seat, including proper harnessing and positioning. Get questions answered by nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians. Be sure to bring your carseat with you if you have one!
Every participating family will receive a new infant sleep sack. Families who need them may also qualify for a new car seat and/or portable crib at no cost. The goal is to help families leave with the knowledge and essential safety resources to give their baby a safe start.
Advance registration is required. Space and safety resources are limited. Please only register ONE time per family. You may bring one family member with you for a total of two guests.
