About this Event
Ready for Kindergarten is a program for children ages 3–5 who are entering school for the first time. Through engaging storytimes, creative crafts, and fun hands-on activities, children will develop important skills such as fine motor coordination, listening, following instructions, and socializing with peers.

Info: Get ready to embark on a learning journey! In this session, we will read a story, participate in a group activity, and make a craft.

September 18th : I can Be a Friend
Info: You will make so many new friends in Kindergarten! Today's session will involve learning about empathy, cooperation, and teamwork.

October 2nd: I can Listen
Info: We will talk about how to sit and actively listen, whether that's to the teacher, your friends, or your family!

October 16th: I can Share + Show and Tell!
Info: Sharing is an important part of Kindergarten. We will also be hosting a Show and Tell, so please bring in an item that represents something you're good at!

October 30th: I can Celebrate + Happy Halloween!
Info: Come dressed in your Halloween costume while we learn about holidays. We will read some spooky stories and make themed crafts!

November 13th: I can Read and Write
Info: Time to read and write! We'll be learning all about letters in this session.

November 27th: I can Count
Info: We will go over basic math skills involving numbers, counting, and the difference between more and less.

December 11th: I can Play + Graduation!
Info: Let's have fun and play some games. Afterwards, celebrate everything you've learned and partake in a small graduation ceremony!
