Strengthening Preparedness in Long-Term Care and Retirement Homes
Being prepared can make all the difference when an outbreak or unexpected event occurs.
Join us for an engaging in-service focused on practical strategies to strengthen preparedness and response in long-term care and retirement homes. Sessions will cover outbreak management, enteric illness preparedness, infection prevention and control considerations during construction and renovation, and lessons to help teams respond confidently when the unexpected happens.
This event is intended for management and frontline staff working in long-term care and retirement homes, as well as hospital-based infection prevention and control professionals.
If multiple staff members from your facility will be attending, please ensure each staff member completes the registration form separately.
Important Note: Where applicable, 3 IPU credits will be awarded upon course completion and included on the course certificate.
