📚program:
18:30 - kapunyitás, búcsúzkodás a telefonoktól

⚡️reading rave budapest: a free series of events for readers and electronic music lovers
“i don’t have time to read,” “i fall asleep—i’d rather watch a TV show,” “i can never bring myself to do it”—reading rave budapest is the answer to a wide range of excuses. It’s a cultural movement that carves out space and time for reading amid the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
❋ you’ll never have more time, but right now you can decide to head to Turbina, take a seat on the dance floor, pick up a book, and read to the music. If you leave the reading floor, you can step outside for a cigarette break, and there’s also an opportunity to swap books in the lobby. Tibor Klöpfler-Topor has joined the initiative, helping you tackle your attention span with an ambient set, line by line, nice and slow. ❋
✨A book club experience—and a club-style reading experience all in one
📚timetable:
18:30 - gates open, say goodbye to your phone
19:00 - klpflrtpr (live) and reading
20:30 - book swap and reading
22:00 - gates close, reading over!
📖Book swap
We’ll set up a book swap on a table in the lobby, so feel free to stop by even if you don’t have a book with you—anyone can take whatever catches their eye. We recommend writing a short recommendation and leaving it at the beginning of the book so whoever picks it up gets a little insight. Nothing is mandatory—if you’d like, you can stay at the table to chat about the books, or you can simply leave behind anything you no longer need
💸How can it be free?
Since this is an independent initiative and we’d like to keep the event free, you have the option to support the organizers and the DJ. You can do this by scanning the QR code posted at the event and donating an amount of your choice.🫰
