We’re excited to announce the return of our book club- this time, with its own name! Please join us as we kick off Read With Pride, a monthly LGBTQ+ focused book club by Lakes Area Pride! Each month, we will read two books: one geared towards teens and young adults, and one geared towards adults.
For our October discussion, we will be reading Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas and The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow. Discussion will take place on October 26th at The Den (inside Hawthorne Plaza) as follows: The Once And Future Witches 6-7 pm, followed by the discussion of Cemetery Boys 7-8 pm. Feel free to read one or both books and join whichever discussion(s) you’d like. Feel free to bring a snack and warm beverage of your choice, or enjoy one from us (supply will be limited). We hope to see you there!
