Come read, relax, and make a furry friend! Join us for our monthly Read to a Therapy Dog event, where children have the opportunity to practice their reading skills, build confidence, and enjoy the comfort and companionship of a certified therapy dog.
Whether your child is an enthusiastic reader, a reluctant reader, or simply loves animals, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a positive, welcoming experience.
🐶 WHO CAN ATTEND?
EVERYONE! This event is open to the entire community. You do NOT need to be a current client of Peaceful Healing Counseling Services to participate. Families throughout Orland Park and the surrounding communities are welcome!

The last Monday of every month!

🩵 WHY WE LOVE THIS EVENT
Reading aloud can sometimes feel intimidating for children. Reading to a therapy dog offers a nonjudgmental, encouraging experience where children can practice at their own pace while enjoying the calming presence of an animal.
We are so excited to make this a monthly tradition and welcome families from across our community!
