Synopsis
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are increasingly becoming prime targets for cyberattacks, yet many still rely on reactive security approaches that leave critical gaps in protection. In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, this model is no longer sustainable. This session explores how SMBs can transition from reactive cybersecurity practices to a proactive, continuous defence strategy. It will focus on practical, cost-effective approaches to identifying vulnerabilities, managing threat exposure, and strengthening resilience across networks, cloud, applications, and data. Attendees will gain insights into: Adopting Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) for real-time risk visibility Leveraging AI and automation to enhance detection and response Building a security-first culture within resource-constrained environments Aligning cyber security with business priorities and regulatory expectations Drawing on real-world experience, this talk will provide actionable strategies that SMBs can implement immediately to reduce risk, improve security posture, and stay ahead of emerging threats.
