# Women’s House #3
CONVERSATION / Andreja Kulunčić:
Art as a Space for Social Change
Through a series of conversations between Sanja Iveković and invited guests, the Women’s House programme explores the feminist and collaborative aspects of the spaces, relationships and practices that Iveković has developed through her artistic work from the early 1970s to the present day. On Thursday, 22 October at 7 PM, the guest of Women’s House will be artist Andreja Kulunčić. The conversation will focus on the shared interest of both artists in art’s potential to contribute to social change, with a particular focus on participatory art practices.
In her work, Kulunčić develops research-based and collaborative processes involving communities whose experiences are often marginalised or overlooked. The conversation will also focus on experiences of artistic practice in the context of the post-socialist transition and the globalisation of contemporary art, with a particular focus on participation in major international exhibitions such as Manifesta and documenta in the 2000s.
