Rasha Nahas is a Palestinian singer, composer, actress, and multi-instrumentalist born in Haifa and now living between Berlin and New York City. Her genre-bending sound fuses raw electric rock, poetry, and trans-traditional influences, flowing effortlessly between Arabic and English.
Her debut album Desert (2021) chronicled her migration, while the acclaimed two-part Amrat (2023), recorded in the occupied Golan Heights and released by UK label Cooking Vinyl, took her from Glastonbury to WOMEX, the Berlinale, and tours across five continents.
2027 opens a pivotal new chapter: Nahas will release her most ambitious album to date, produced by Meshell Ndegeocello and Nahas, featuring an exceptional roster of musicians, alongside an international touring cycle and her debut lead acting role on screen.
Expanding her multidisciplinary practice, she also composes for film, theater, and dance, and is a recipient of the Bertha Foundation’s Artivism Award.
