IN CHE MODO IL NOSTRO EVENTO È DIVERSO DA UNA FIERA DEL LIBRO?

Il focus di RARE è il rapporto tra autrice/autore e i lettori che partecipano. Ogni partecipante avrà l'opportunità di scoprire nuove autrici e autori. Inoltre potrà conoscere di persona un elevato numero di autrici e autori. A seconda del tipo di biglietto acquistato, si avranno 7 o 5 ore per essere nella sala del firmacopie dove sarà possibile acquistare libri, farli firmare, chiacchierare e scattare foto con le autrici e gli autori. Non ci sono biglietti né costi aggiuntivi per incontrare o farsi fotografare con le autrici e gli autori presenti il giorno dell'evento. Sarà possibile portare con sé libri da casa e/o acquistare dal nostro libraio e da alcune case editrici presenti libri in italiano pubblicati tradizionalmente. Alcune autrici disporranno di moduli per preordinare libri direttamente da loro. Poiché la maggior parte delle autrici e degli autori viaggia da lontano, potrebbe capitare che alcuni non abbiano libri in vendita il giorno del firmacopie. Non è un requisito avere libri cartacei da firmare. I partecipanti possono portare altri oggetti che le autrici e gli autori saranno lieti di firmare.

LA SALA DEL FIRMACOPIE È ACCESIBILE PER LE PERSONE CON DISABILITÀ?

Lo spazio dove si terrà l'evento si trova al piano terra ed è accessibile alle persone con disabilità, nonché dotato di rampe per l'accesso. Per ulteriori dettagli, consultare il sito web di Firenze Fiera.

QUANDO ANDRANNO IN VENDITA I BIGLIETTI?

I biglietti saranno messi in vendita il 28 febbraio alle 12:00 (ora italiana)

o I biglietti saranno venduti tramite Eventbrite. Il prezzo è espresso in dollari USA e, nel carrello, saranno applicate le commissioni di PayPal e di conversione.

o Il link alla pagina Eventbrite sarà pubblicato nel gruppo Facebook RARE26 Florence Attendees. Inoltre sarà possibile cercare l'evento direttamente su Eventbrite (profilo dell'organizzatore: Romance Author & Reader Events RARE)

o I pagamenti saranno effettuati tramite PayPal. Non è necessario avere un account PayPal per effettuare il pagamento, basta selezionare l'opzione "Pagamento come ospite".

QUALI SONO LE DIVERSE TIPOLOGIE DI BIGLIETTI E QUANTO COSTANO?:

**Tutti i biglietti saranno addebitati in dollari USA (non in euro) **

• Entrata Anticipata (EE, dà accesso a due ore in più rispetto al biglietto di entrata generale) $87 + commissioni Paypal e di conversione.
• Entrata Generale (GA) $57 + commissioni Paypal e di conversione.
• Ogni transazione ha un limite di 2 biglietti di Entrata Anticipata (EE) e 4 biglietti di Entrata Generale (GA).

**I biglietti per l'Entrata Anticipata (EE) consentono ai partecipanti di accedere alla sala del firmacopie 2 ore prima dell'ingresso generale. Queste due ore in più sono l'unica differenza con il biglietto di Entrata Generale (GA)**

Nel caso non potessi più partecipare all'evento, puoi vendere il tuo biglietto nel post Acquista/Vendi (Buy & Sell), che sarà postato nel gruppo Facebook RARE26 Florence Attendees. Il biglietto dovrà essere venduto a valore nominale.

BIGLIETTI PER ACCOMPAGNATORI:

- Se avete bisogno di un accompagnatore che vi assista durante l'evento, i biglietti per accompagnatori sono disponibili gratuitamente con la presentazione di un verbale di handicap Legge 104/92 che riconosca una grave disabilità ai sensi dell'art. 3 comma 3. Il nome sul verbale Legge 104/92 deve corrispondere al nome sul biglietto.

- I documenti che riconoscono l'invalidità o handicap possono variare a seconda del Paese di origine:

o Verbale Legge 104/92, art. 3 comma 3 per l'Italia.

o Altra documentazione specifica per paese.

NOTA: un biglietto gratuito per accompagnatori significa che l'accompagnatore NON PARTECIPERÀ al firmacopie poiché sarà presente solo per fornire supporto alla persona che accompagna. L'accompagnatore riceverà un braccialetto diverso da quello dei partecipanti con biglietto EE e GA. Se l'accompagnatore è un amante dei libri e desidera partecipare al firmacopie, dovrà acquistare un biglietto a prezzo intero.

**Per richiedere un biglietto per l'accompagnatore, inviare via email la copia del verbale handicap Legge 104/92 a [email protected] insieme al nome dell'accompagnatore.**

COSA È INCLUSO IN OGNI BIGLIETTO?

• TUTTI I BIGLIETTI includono: ingresso giornaliero, foto con autrici/autori, autografi. Non c'è un sovraprezzo per foto e autografi, è tutto incluso.L'unica differenza tra biglietti è che chi ha un biglietto con entrata anticipata (EE) ha due ore in più per incontrare autrici/autori, fare foto e farsi firmare i libri.
• Biglietti per accompagnatori – L'ingresso ad accompagnatori è consentito su richiesta con la presentazione di un verbale Legge 104/92, art. 3 comma 3, e a scopo di supporto/aiuto di una persona munita di biglietto. All'accompagnatore verrà fornito un braccialetto diverso che permette l'ingresso ma non la partecipazione attiva al firmacopie.
  

CHI DOVRÀ AVERE UN BIGLIETTO? C'È UNA ETÀ MINIMA PER ACCEDERE?

• Chiunque voglia accedere alla sala dell'evento o anche solo al Foyer deve essere in possesso di un biglietto. Tutti i coniugi, badanti, amici, parenti e ragazze e ragazzi al di sopra dei 16 anni dovranno essere in possesso di un biglietto.
• Tutti i partecipanti con età compresa tra 16 e 17 anni dovranno essere accompagnati da un partecipante di età pari o superiore a 18 anni. *Non sono ammessi bambini e bambine di età inferiore a 16 anni - NESSUNA ECCEZIONE*
• Si prega di non portare neonati/bambini piccoli, poiché non sarà loro consentito l'ingresso. Saranno presenti copertine di libri e striscioni espliciti nella sala dell'evento.

DEVO INSERIRE LE INFORMAZIONI PERSONALI PER OGNI PERSONA PER CUI ACQUISTO UN BIGLIETTO?

Si. Su ogni biglietto deve essere indicato nome, cognome, indirizzo email, paese di residenza ed età del possessore di tale biglietto. Prima di concludere l'acquisto dei biglietti, ti verrà richiesto di inserire queste informazioni: ti preghiamo di non lasciare il campo vuoto, poiché potrebbe causare problemi nel rilascio dei biglietti.

È NECESSARIO MOSTRARE UN DOCUMENTO DI IDENTITÀ PER ACCEDERE ALL'EVENTO?

L'accesso agli eventi RARE è permesso tramite scannerizzazione dei biglietti, quindi sono accettati sia biglietti stampati che elettronici (sul cellulare). Se non hai stampato il biglietto, o se non puoi mostrarci il tuo biglietto elettronico, allora un documento di identità sarà richiesto per accedere all'evento.

È obbligatorio inserire il proprio nome e dati su Eventbrite in modo da avere accesso al proprio biglietto. In questo modo, se per qualsiasi motivo non fosse possibile reperire il biglietto, potremo verificare i dettagli del biglietto presentando un documento d'identità.

Inoltre, sarà obbligatorio presentare un documento d'identità per chi abbia o sembri avere meno di 16 anni, e per coloro che non siano in possesso di un biglietto cartaceo o elettronico. In tutti i casi, il nome sul documento d'identità dovrà corrispondere al nome sul biglietto.

I BIGLIETTI SONO CEDIBILI?

Non sono previsti rimborsi per i biglietti, ma è possibile trasferirlo. Nel caso dovessi vendere il tuo biglietto, sarà tua responsabilità trasferire il biglietto all'acquirente, aggiornando il nome, l'età, il paese e l'indirizzo email di ciascun nuovo possessore. Per fare il cambio dei dati, si deve accedere a Eventbrite da un browser (PC/laptop, pagina web) già che l'app non consente le modifiche.

POSSO MODIFICARE E/O AGGIORNARE LE INFORMAZIONI SUI BIGLIETTI ?Sì, la persona che ha acquistato originariamente i biglietti può modificarne i dettagli accedendo al suo account Eventbrite e aggiornandone le informazioni. Dovrai farlo tramite un browser (PC o laptop) e non tramite l'app.

DEVO STAMPARE IL BIGLIETTO E PORTARLO ALL'EVENTO?No, puoi avere anche solo il biglietto elettronico (codice QR).

C'È UN LIMITE DI LIBRI/OGGETTI CHE POSSO FARE FIRMARE DA OGNI AUTRICE/AUTORE O IN TOTALE ALL'EVENTO?

• Non più di 2 oggetti (escluse le bookplates/etichette) per autrice/autore.
• Alcune autrici potrebbero dover imporre limiti prima o durante il firmacopie se il numero di preordini supera quanto inizialmente previsto. I limiti imposti potrebbero essere: un limite al numero totale di articoli che firmeranno o a quello delle personalizzazioni. Le informazioni al riguardo saranno condivise al più presto e potranno essere soggette a modifiche in qualsiasi momento.

COSA POSSO PORTARE/COSA NON POSSO PORTARE ALL'EVENTO?Potete portare tutti i libri che volete, cover per e-reader e iPad, etichette e/o qualsiasi altro oggetto che vi piacerebbe far firmare dalle autrici e dagli autori. Sebbene tanto un libraio quanto le autrici e gli autori abbiano libri in vendita, puoi tranquillamente portare i tuoi libri.

Non è consentito introdurre alcolici di alcun tipo all'evento. Sono ammessi snack e bevande analcoliche.DEVO ESSERE IO A PORTARE E A COMPRARE I MIEI LIBRI?Sì. Se desideri far firmare un libro, dovrai acquistarlo e portarlo con te oppure prenotarlo direttamente con l'autrice/autore. Alcune autrici/autori offriranno preordini, così da poter ordinare libri direttamente da loro; altre no. Solo i libri pubblicati tradizionalmente da case editrici saranno disponibili presso una libreria presente all'evento.

CI SARÀ UN BOOKSELLER (LIBRERIA) CHE VENDERÀ LIBRI IL GIORNO DELL'EVENTO?Sì, tuttavia, il bookseller avrà solo libri tradizionalmente pubblicati - cioè solo libri pubblicati da CE e distribuiti in libreria. Se un libro è tradizionalmente pubblicato (per esempio, l'autrice/autore è self), allora il bookseller non lo avrà.

C'È UN DRESS CODE PER L'EVENTO? No, indossa quello che ti fa sentire a tuo agio! Starai in piedi tutto il giorno e le stanze tendono a riscaldarsi, quindi ti suggeriamo di vestirti a strati e di indossare scarpe e vestiti comodi.

LA LISTA DELLE AUTRICI CAMBIERÀ?

Sì. La lista delle autrici e degli autori partecipanti è soggetta a variazioni in qualsiasi momento. Ogni autrice/autore considera molto seriamente questi eventi di firmacopie e conferma solo dopo attente considerazioni. L'organizzazione RARE riconferma ogni partecipazione almeno 3 volte prima di fare gli annunci. Sebbene speriamo che altre autrici e autori possano ancora unirsi a noi a Firenze, talvolta capitano imprevisti e impegni improrogabili che comportano la cancellazione della partecipazione all'evento. Quindi vi suggeriamo caldamente di essere preparati per eventuali cancellazioni e di cercare di leggere il maggior numero possibile di autrici e autori presenti in modo da ridurre qualsiasi delusione. Vi preghiamo di non acquistare biglietti per vedere una sola autrice o un solo autore.

La vendita dei biglietti è finale e i biglietti non sono rimborsabili, indipendentemente da eventuali cancellazioni da parte di autrici/autori.

WHEN/WHERE IS RARE26FLORENCE?

HOW DOES OUR SIGNING DIFFER FROM A BOOK FAIR?

At RARE we focus on attendee/author relationship. Each attendee will have the opportunity to find new to you authors and meet as many signing authors as possible. Depending on ticket type purchased, you'll have 7 or 5 hours to be in the signing room and purchase books, get your books signed, chat and take pictures with authors. There is no additional ticket or fee to meet or have your pictures taken with authors on event day. Bring books or items from home and or purchase Italian traditionally published books from our on site book seller or authors. Some authors will have pre order forms to order directly with them. Since most authors will be traveling they may not have extras to sell on the day. If you don't have physical books to be signed feel free to bring other items, all authors are happy to sign them for you.

IS THE VENUE DISABILITY FRIENDLY?

The event space is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. For further details please check their website. 

WHEN WILL TICKETS GO ON SALE?

Tickets go on sale: February 28, 12:00pm CET

o   Tickets will be sold via Eventbrite and be sold in USD $ - conversion and Paypal fees will apply.

o   A link to the Eventbrite page will be posted in the Facebook Attendee Group or you can search the event on Eventbrite. (Romance Author & Reader Events RARE)

o   Payments will be processed via PayPal, an account is not required to check out, just select Guest Checkout.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TICKET TYPES AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?:

**All tickets are charged in $USD**

• Early Entry (same ticket as General Admission plus 2 additional hours) $87+ paypal fees
• General Admission $57 + paypal fees
• Each transaction is limited to 2 Early Entry tickets and 4 General Admission tickets

** Early Entry tickets allow attendees to access the signing room 2 hours earlier than General Admission. Except for this, the tickets are the same **

*All sales are final – NO REFUNDS. If you are no longer able to attend the event you may sell your ticket on the Buy/Sell thread which will be in the Facebook Attendee Group for face value only.

CARER TICKETS:

-        If you require a carer to assist you to the event, carer tickets are available free of charge upon presentation of a valid Law 104/92 Certificate which recognizes a severe disability under art. 3 comma 3.  Please note that the name on Law 104/92 Certificate should match the name on your ticket.

-          Disability cards may vary slightly depending on your country of origin, but examples may include:

o   Law 104/92 Certificate, art. 3 comma 3.

o   Other country specific documentation

 Please note: A free Carer ticket means the Carer WILL NOT participate in the signing – they will be there for support only and will receive a different wristband to attendees with tickets. If your carer is a book lover and would like to participate in the signing, then they will be required to purchase a full priced ticket.

**In order to receive a carer ticket please email your Law 104/92 Certificate to [email protected] along with the carer’s name.**

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH EACH TICKET?

• ALL signing tickets include entrance, pictures and autographs with authors. There is no separate cost for pictures or autographs (this is NOT a con). The only difference is that Early Entry tickets enter 2 hours earlier.
• Carer/Companion Tickets – Entry with a ticketed attendee only for the purpose of support/aid (upon presentation of valid proof of need). A different wristband is provided and the carer will not participate in the signing.
  

TICKET REQUIREMENTS AND AGE RESTRICTIONS

• Anyone entering the Exhibition halls and/or Foyer must be ticketed. All spouses, caregivers, friends, parents, and children 16 and over must be ticketed. 
• All attendees between 16 and 17 must be accompanied with an attendee 18 years of age or older *no children under 16 - NO EXCEPTIONS*
• Please do not bring babies/young children as they will not be permitted to enter. There will be explicit book covers and banners in the room.

DO I NEED TO ENTER PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Yes. The ticket holder's name, email address, age and country should be on each ticket. Prior to paying for your tickets you will be prompted to enter this information – please do not leave it blank as it may result in issues with your tickets being generated.

ARE THERE ID REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THE VENUE?

RARE is now able to scan tickets for entry, so paper or electronic tickets are both accepted. No ID is required unless you lose your ticket and or do not have access to it electronically.

You are required to input your name and details into Eventbrite to access your ticket. That way if you are unable to access your ticket for any reason we are able to look up your ticket details to match your I.D.

Identification is required for those who look under 16 or do not have a paper ticket or a way to electronically check in, and said identification must match the name on the ticket.

ARE THE TICKETS TRANSFERABLE?

No refunds are offered on tickets, but they are transferable. Should you sell any tickets it will be your responsibility to transfer the ticket to the new owner by updating the name, age, country and email address for each attendee.

CAN I UPDATE THE TICKET INFORMATION?Yes, the person who originally purchased the tickets can amend ticket details by logging into your Eventbrite account and updating the information there. You will need to do this using a Browser (PC/laptop/web page) and not via the app. DO I HAVE TO BRING A PRINTED TICKET TO THE EVENT? No! You can also present your electronic ticket and QR code on your phone.

IS THERE A LIMIT ON HOW MANY ITEMS I CAN GET SIGNED BY ONE AUTHORS OR IN TOTAL AT THE EVENT?

• No more than 2 non-book items (not including book plates) per author.
• Some authors may need limits imposed during the signing or before the signing if their pre order numbers are higher than anticipated. Imposed limits could be; limit on the total number of items they will sign, or may restrict the number of personalisation’s. 

WILL THE AUTHOR LIST CHANGE? Yes. The author list is subject to change at any time. Authors take signings very seriously and confirm after much thought. RARE re-confirms with each author 3+ times prior to being announced. Whilst we hope that authors are still able to join us in Florence, sometimes life happens, and they need to cancel so please be prepared for this and try to read as many attending authors as possible to limit any disappointment– please do not buy tickets to only see one author.Ticket sales are final regardless of cancellations and no refunds will be available should an author you wish to see cancels.WHAT CAN/CAN’T I BRING TO THE EVENT?Feel free to bring as many books as you like, Kindle covers, iPad covers, book plates, and/or any items you would like signed (please be aware of any author limits though). Whilst there will be a bookseller and authors will have books for sale; you are more than welcome to bring books you already own.No alcohol of any kind can be brought into the event. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks can be brought into the event.DO I HAVE TO BUY OR BRING MY OWN BOOKS?Yes. Books will not be provided for free. If you would like a book signed, please bring that title with you or pre order it from the author. Some attending authors will have a pre order form so you can order directly from them, some will not. Only traditionally published books in Italy will be available through a bookseller at the event.WILL A BOOKSELLER (BOOKSTORE) BE SELLING BOOKS AT THE EVENT?Yes however a book seller will only sell traditional titles -meaning only titles distributed by a German publisher. If the book you want is not traditionally published (the author is indie) then the bookseller will not have the book.IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR THE EVENT?No, wear whatever makes you comfortable. You will be on your feet all day and rooms tend to get warm, please dress comfortably, wear comfy shoes, and dress in layers.

Info: MEET & GREET depending on how many signing tickets are sold. If we move foward with a Meet & Greet this will be a separate ticket approximately $12. Most authors signing on Saturday will be at the Meet & Greet to meet you, chat, take photos with you. Some authors may sign at the Meet & Greet for an hour but most will not be signing on Friday. Meet & Greet tickets will be limited if we move forward.
