On Sunday, October 18 from 2pm-3:30pm, in honor of a month that sees yet more rare Beatles material on the market with the release of the Rubber Soul box set, I'll present and discuss uncommon film performances of the Beatles from throughout their career for a free event at Down Home Music at 10341 San Pablo Avenue in El Cerrito, CA. The clips span one of their first shows with Ringo Starr at the Cavern in 1962 through the January 1969 Get Back sessions, at which the group recorded the bulk of what would become the Let It Be album.
