About this Event
Volunteer Training: Supporting Immigrant Families & Community Response
About this training:
When immigration enforcement shows up in our neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, or places of worship, communities deserve more than fear and confusion. They deserve preparation, care, and coordinated response.
We're building a stronger community response network in Northwestern Pennsylvania — a network of people prepared to respond when immigrant neighbors and families need information, support, and connection to resources.
Join us for our next Volunteer Training in Erie, PA, hosted by Northwestern Pennsylvania Rapid Response Network, to learn more about this work, understand how you can participate safely and responsibly, and discover where your own skills and interests can contribute.
This training also prepares community members to respond lawfully, calmly, and collectively during immigration enforcement activity. The goal is community defense rooted in dignity, legal rights, and care for those most impacted.
You don't need previous experience or a specific volunteer role in mind. Come learn, meet others, and find your role in strengthening our community.
