Get ready for a fantastic day of live music at the annual Raphael House Steiner Fair Outdoor Music Stage! Celebrating the diversity and creativity of Aotearoa’s music scene, this year’s lineup brings together an exciting mix of heavy riffs, alternative rock, underground sounds and captivating solo performances. Featuring Stretch to Mould, Damiasharko, Hexxer, Undies, Datu Beech, Athena Clark with Cyan Ye and Vince Cabrera, there’s something for every music lover. Come along, support local musicians, soak up the festival atmosphere and enjoy a brilliant day of live music, community spirit and family-friendly fun!
Wellington rock trio Stretch to Mould bring hard-hitting riffs, powerful vocals and dynamic musicianship to the stage. Expect energetic alternative rock with plenty of intensity and a sound built for live performance.
The solo project of Haylee Hailwood, guitarist and vocalist of Wellington grungegaze band Cruelly, Damiasharko explores a gentler, more intimate side of her songwriting. Expect atmospheric sounds, heartfelt emotion and an alternative edge.
Wellington’s Hexxer delivers adventurous alternative rock that blends gritty guitar work, experimental songwriting and unexpected musical turns. Balancing intensity with atmosphere, Hexxer offers a compelling dose of the capital’s independent rock sound.
Undies, (3/5 of Wellington favourites Underwire), serve up catchy indie rock with a punchy, energetic live sound. Mixing alternative rock with surf-punk attitude, garage-rock grit and ska influences, they bring infectious melodies and plenty of personality to the stage.
A familiar face in Te Whanganui-a-Tara’s music community, Datu Beech brings experience across multiple projects and genres, including emo outfit Crying Club and his work with Hunter Jackson. Look forward to a performance showcasing the creativity of Wellington’s interconnected music scene.
Ex-student Athena Clark joins the lineup with a performance celebrating the talent and individuality of Aotearoa’s local music scene. A welcome addition to a diverse programme of artists and sounds. She is supported by Cian Ye, a talented guitarist and singer.
Pink Shoggoth is the solo project of Upper Hutt musician Vince Cabrera, who creates distinctive instrumental music using acoustic bass, blending melodic, ambient and cinematic qualities. His thoughtful, understated approach offers a chance to slow down and appreciate the expressive possibilities of an unconventional solo instrument. Vince sings songs about myths and legends around the world.
