Salaam Baalak Trust hosts a special fundraising evening in memory of its Founder Trustee, Dr. Praveen Nair, marking her 95th birth anniversary. The evening presents Rang: The Musical, curated and produced by Excurators in collaboration with Amarrass Records. Featuring Oroon Das and Rehmat-e-Nusrat, the performance journeys through the Delhi of the 13th and 14th centuries, bringing together the intertwined stories of Amir Khusrau Dehlavi and Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya through evocative storytelling and Qawwali.
The evening also celebrates Dr. Praveen Nair’s enduring legacy and her lifelong commitment to the welfare of children and women. For nearly four decades, Salaam Baalak Trust has carried forward this vision, supporting children living in difficult circumstances through shelter, education, healthcare, counselling, nutrition and vocational opportunities.
