Here they are! The first names of Random Fest 2026. This year, we're moving our annual celebration of underground music to the legendary Vort'n Vis. On October 17h, we'll welcome you all to see some of the best bands around.
WOKE UP TIED UP
We love to see young people starting bands and keep the scene we love going. Expect some great, fast and angry hardcore. Old school with a fresh touch. Really excited to have these youngsters on the bill!
NOTHING WORKS (DE)
Formed in late 2022, Nothing Works is a rising force from Berlin’s underground subcultures. Blending '90s indie/alternative with modern melodic and post-hardcore, their sound is raw, urgent and emotionally charged. Think Drug Church meets Bikini K*ll. That’s a good starting point for understanding their unapologetically political lyrics and the fierce energy they bring to every show.
ARCLINE (US)
Los Angeles based hardcore collective, ARCLINE makes straight up NYHC heavy groove style music. The new songs they wrote also lean into a darker side tonally that is reflective of the current state of a world that’s gone to shit.
Fans of Trapped Under Ice, Buried Alive and 100 Demons should take note that these new ARCLINE songs still pack the ferocious punch they brought on their debut EP.
SLUMPT (US)
Slumpt blends the aggressive groove of early 2000's hardcore with catchy choruses and hard hitting riffs. They are creating a sound that's both familiar and fresh.
CLEARxCUT (DE)
CLEARxCUT is a German based band committed to spreading the message
of total liberation through metallic hardcore. Founded by (former) members of renowned acts like Heaven Shall Burn, Implore, and King Apathy/Thrӓnenkind, the group stands firmly dedicated to the vegan straight edge (XVX) philosophy. Their mission is to confront listeners with inconvenient truths and today's harsh realities, rooted in a strong DIY ethic. With a sound defined as raw, metallic hardcore, the band translates their strong convictions into high-intensity music, aimed at all defenders of our Earth who are prepared to stand up for a better, fairer future.
TO THE WIRE (DE)
Forged in the heart of Germany’s Ruhr Area, TO THE WIRE is proof that hardcore can still feel urgent, honest, and alive. Drawing from the raw intensity of 80s and 90s hardcore while pushing forward with a modern edge, they’ve carved out a sound that hits hard without losing its heart – emotional, energetic, and unmistakably youth crew in spirit.
With over a hundred shows across multiple countries, including a 12 dates tour in the USA last year, TO THE WIRE has earned its reputation the only way that matters: on the stage, night after night. Their live shows are sweat-soaked explosions of unity and release – where passion outweighs polish and every word matters.
CROSSHAIRS
Crosshairs is H8000's newest allstar band featuring Nico Siench on drums, Pletze on guitar, Freddy Nostra on bass and Joris De Bruyn on vocals. Gratefull to have these guys playing Random Fest.
WORKS OF THE FLESH
Sometimes, we like our music fast and heavy. Works Of The Flesh is an Antwerp death metal crust band. We can describe it as old BOLT THROWER meets SKIT SYSTEM meets MOTÖRHEAD. Members of ABRAHAMIC LIARS, MUSTH, SUHRIM, and many more.
NØFX
Yes! The number 1 NOFX coverband is coming to Random Fest for a wonderfull afterparty! Expect a great party with sing-alongs. with (ex-)members of Five Days Off and Gino's Eyeball, these guys know what punkrock means. Let's end Random Fest 2026 in style!
