Anyone can put a store online in a weekend. Most of them look like it. These two days are about the difference between a store and a business, and you do the work here, in the room, with the people who supply the products.
WHAT YOU WALK OUT WITH
The Randmar Academy Workbook
Printed, spiral-bound, and yours. This isn't a handout: it's the document you work in for two days. Every exercise, decision and framework gets written in by hand, so you leave with your niche, your customer, your catalogue and your homepage architecture recorded in your own words. Chapters: Clarity · Tools · Storytelling & Your Ideal Customer · Building Your Store · Market Development Funds · Randmar Academy · Your Next Move.
A live Shopify store
On your own domain, with your own professional email. Not a demo and not a template you'll finish later.
- Your domain, bought on day one so it's live by day two
- A homepage engineered to convert: hero, trust bar, featured collection, social proof
- 5–12 products in, with listings written by your AI agent
- Policies published so ad platforms will actually approve you
- One advertising channel connected
Your Randmar account, connected
Set up in the room, with the team who runs it standing next to you.
- Reseller access to 75+ authorized brands across 20 niches
- Randmar Connect installed on your Shopify store
- Your AI agent connected to the live Randmar catalogue
- Canadian warehousing and fulfilment: no inventory, no minimums
- A named contact who knows your store
Randmar Academy community membership, free and yours to keep
Everyone who attends joins the Randmar Academy community. No subscription, no card on file. It's the free tier, and it stays free.
- Courses: learn the fundamentals at your own pace
- A monthly workshop: one live working session every month, bring what you're stuck on
- Webinars: live sessions on what's actually working right now
- Meetups: other Canadian sellers building the same thing you are
Loraine runs the community and is your first point of contact, the person you message when you get stuck three weeks from now.
THE TWO DAYS: DAY ONE YOU DECIDE. DAY TWO YOU BUILD.
Every block is taught, then worked. You're never listening for more than thirty minutes before you're writing, choosing or building, with the team on the floor.
Day One: Decide & Install (Saturday, October 24 · 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Welcome: Ninety years of distribution, and what you're walking out with tomorrow.
- Clarity: Why you're here, which of the five kinds of seller you actually are, and the one lever that moves your numbers.
- The Install: Your AI agent, your Shopify account, Randmar Connect. You buy your domain in the room so it's live by tomorrow.
- Storytelling & Your Ideal Customer: The longest writing block of the two days, and the one that decides everything downstream.
- How Distribution Actually Works: Where the margin really sits, what Market Development Funds are, and how a seller gets on the list that isn't published.
- Your Catalogue: Niches, brands, and the 5–12 products you'll actually launch with.
End of day one: a connected store account, a purchased domain, a defined customer and a chosen product list.
Day Two: Build & Launch (Sunday, October 25 · 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Teardown: We take a real member store apart on screen, built by someone with no design or technical background.
- Homepage Architecture: The four sections that aren't optional, then the ones that have to earn their place. Mapped, then built.
- Products In: Theme, collections, and listings generated by your agent straight from the live Randmar catalogue.
- The Gatekeepers: Policies, sales channels, Google Merchant Center, and one advertising platform connected.
- Model It Before You Spend: Run your store through the profit simulator and find the lever with the biggest upside.
- The Launch Hour: The whole team on the floor, person by person, until the stores are live.
End of day two: a live store and a completed workbook.
WHO'S IN THE ROOM
Two people run these two days. The rest of the team is on the floor. No rotating cast of guest speakers: the people teaching are the people who run the distribution business you'll be selling from, and they're there for both days.
Gislain Armand, President, Randmar Inc.
Third generation. His grandfather started Randmar in 1936, his father grew it, and Gislain runs it now: 75+ authorized brands, 17,000+ SKUs, Canadian warehousing.
Leads: Clarity · Storytelling & Ideal Customer · Homepage architecture · Profit modelling
John Pundyk, Business Development, Randmar Inc.
John sits between a manufacturer and one specific store and builds something that fits both. Pricing, early access to launches, programs built for a single account that don't exist on any published list.
Leads: The install · How distribution works · Your catalogue · Policies, channels & Merchant Center
Plus the wider Randmar team on the floor throughout, because in the Launch Hour somebody needs to be looking over your shoulder.
WE CAP THIS ROOM
We build your store with you. There are only so many of us on the floor, and past a certain number we can't get to everyone in the Launch Hour, which means somebody goes home without a live store. That's the entire event, so we cap it rather than break it.
WHO THIS IS FOR
- You haven't started: Best possible position. There's nothing to undo, and you'll build it right the first time. You don't need a Shopify account, a logo, or any technical background before you arrive.
- You're selling, and stuck: Plateaued conversion, rising ad costs, a catalogue that sprawled. Bring the store you've got; we'll find the leak in front of you and rebuild the parts that are costing you.
- You've got pieces everywhere: Shopify half-done, a supplier in one tab, ads in another, no policies. Two days to turn a pile of half-finished things into one operating system.
A few of the 75+ authorized brands you'll be selling: HP, Casio, Canon, Epson, Durable, Keurig, Bugatti, Olfa, Staedtler.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
What do I need to bring?
A laptop (not a tablet) and its charger, and a credit card you can use to pay for Shopify and your domain in the room. A rough business name idea helps; naming paralysis eats an hour. Everything else we handle. We'll email you a short prep list once you're registered.
Do I need a Shopify account already?
No. You'll create it on day one with the team walking you through it. Same for your AI agent, your domain and your Randmar account.
I'm not technical. Is this going to be over my head?
The member stores we'll show you were built by people with no design and no technical background. That's precisely why this is two days in a room with the team on the floor rather than a course you watch alone.
Do I really walk out with a live store?
That's the promise, and the last block of day two exists to make it true: the whole team goes person by person through the checklist until the stores are live. The honest caveat: a few things sit outside our control, like a payment processor that wants extra verification. Everything we control, we finish in the room.
What if I can only make one of the two days?
Day two builds directly on what you decide on day one, so we strongly recommend attending both. We can't get you to a live store from a standing start on the second morning.
Is there anything else to buy afterwards?
No. Your Randmar reseller account and the Randmar Academy community are both free and stay free. We do run a paid Academy subscription for sellers who want ongoing business development and one-to-one support, and we'll explain it on day two, but nothing about your store, your account or your community access depends on it.
Is the workbook mine to keep?
Yes. Printed, spiral-bound, and full of your own handwriting by the end of it.
What language is the conference in?
English. All sessions, the workbook and the materials are in English.
Are meals included?
Lunch is provided on both days, along with coffee throughout.
Tickets are non-refundable.
