With Kehlani's music as a guide, we'll experience a gentle beginner's yoga flow led by certified yogi and award-winning author Arriel Vinson. We’ll begin with a gentle warm up before moving into a sequence that will allow us to let go of the day. At the end of our flow, we’ll experience a guided meditation—one that reminds us to be confident, speak life into ourselves, and release all that isn’t serving us.
Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and checking in. If you have a mat, please bring one as mats are limited!
**About the facilitator:**
Arriel Vinson started taking her yoga practice seriously in 2021 to counteract her stressful work life. What she discovered was a clearer mind, a desire to deepen her practice, and a calling to make more space for Black practitioners. As a CYT-200, certified by Cityoga in Indianapolis, Arriel hopes to show students that yoga is more than a fitness practice: meditation, breathwork, and asanas create a path toward understanding ourselves, and the world, better. They’re tools for liberation, resistance, and community building. An author by profession, Arriel incorporates journaling and affirmations into her classes to emphasize the constant need for loving ourselves and finding compassion in a society that often encourages the opposite. She is honored to guide you in whatever your yoga practice may reveal.
