Ramadan Retreat 2027Mama Ghita’s • Rabat, Morocco

We are quietly opening expressions of interest for a small and intimate seven day Ramadan retreat at Mama Ghita’s during the final days of the blessed month of Ramadan 2027.
This gathering is not centred around busy schedules or polished retreat structures, but around immersion into the natural rhythm of Ramadan within the Alami family home and the sacred atmosphere carried throughout Rabat during these blessed nights.
Together we will share prayer, break fast together, sit in remembrance, attend tarawih prayers at the local mosque and if Allah wills, witness the beauty and stillness of Laylat al Qadr within sacred companionship.
We are also hoping to include visits to Jabal Alam and the Maqam of Ibn Mashish and to some of the blessed maqams within Rabat itself, and potentially a visit to the museum dedicated to the life and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
There will likely be other outings and moments woven throughout the week organically, although the final programme and timetable will be confirmed closer to the time.
As with all gatherings at Mama Ghita’s, much of what unfolds happens naturally through companionship, hospitality, simplicity, prayer, shared meals and presence.
Due to the intimate nature of the retreat, spaces will be extremely limited and once the gathering is full, no additional places will be added.
