I'm not sure if everyone is aware that the Stuart Wood School is likely to be torn down in the near future if saner minds don't prevail ? Councilor Margot Middleton brought forward a motion (and it was passed ) to include the Stuart Wood School site in an investigation of future sites for a new RCMP building. There is an alarming disregard for the heritage of our city by local governments ... which will lead to the destruction of one of the few remaining Heritage buildings in the city unless we speak up .
A rally (hopefully the first of many to come) will be held on October 31 . Please help us to let the incoming city council know that we want the Stuart Wood School to be preserved rather than destroyed. Come out for the rally and encourage all your friends to come out as well !!
