**Please share this widely with your networks & encourage everyone to come! Rally to End Poverty
On October 15, right before the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, people across Manitoba will come together to say: poverty is not inevitable, and we can do better.
Join Make Poverty History Manitoba for a rally to celebrate the people and communities working for change—and to demand provincial government action to ensure everyone in Manitoba has a safe home, enough to eat, a decent income, and the opportunity to live with dignity.
Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026
12:00 - 1:00 pm
Manitoba Legislature
Featuring speakers from the following communities: First Nations, urban Indigenous, food banks, people with disabilities, newcomers, students, child poverty, feminists, housing, labour and Giiwedin Migizi drummers
Advocates know what it takes to end poverty, have the resources, the ideas, and the collective strength. What we need is the courage and political will to act.
Come raise your voice, stand together, and imagine a Manitoba where no one is left behind.
