If you know Sgt. Ryan Prail, you know his reach goes well beyond Inver Grove Heights. He has spent more than 25 years serving others through his police work, his time on the MAAG Team, and teaching firearms classes at Rasmussen College, and that’s only naming a few.Ryan has also served in our schools as a school resource officer and coached youth sports, making a difference in the lives of kids both in the classroom and on the field. His love, care, and compassion for others go far beyond the badge.
Alongside his therapy K9 Asher, Ryan has brought plenty of smiles and comfort to people who needed it. He’s been there for others on some of their worst days. Now it’s our turn to show up for him and his family.
Ryan has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Surgery is coming for Ryan, followed by his road to recovery. His wife, Megan, will also be having surgery around the same time. With two young boys at home and the holidays coming, they have a lot on their plate.
The emotional toll of facing all of this together is a lot for any family. That’s where we want to help…by surrounding them with love and support, easing some of the weight, and giving them more time to focus on healing and being together. Family always comes first.

We’ll have meat raffles, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and more, with all money raised going to Ryan and his family. Petey’s is also donating a portion of food and drink sales during the event.
In law enforcement, when someone needs backup, you show up. Let’s do the same for Ryan, Megan, and their boys.
