Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum
Step into the everyday India of centuries past. Built around the lifelong passion of Dr. Dinkar G. Kelkar ("Kaka"), this Pune landmark houses over 22,000 artifacts gathered across 60 years of travel through India's villages, temples, and forgotten attics.
From ornate lamps, palanquins, and hookahs to carved doors, musical instruments, miniature paintings, and arms and armour, every object captures the beauty Indian craftsmen breathed into the ordinary. Don't miss the Mastani Mahal, recreated within the museum, which tells the legendary love story of Bajirao Peshwa I and Mastani.
